Coastal World Journal

Partnerships

Coastal World Journal considers a limited range of collaborations related to coastal places, design and visual culture. We look for a clear fit with the publication and label commercial relationships so readers can distinguish them from independent editorial work.

Suitable collaborations

Possible collaborations include clearly identified partner articles, themed editorial projects with a defined commercial role, and partner placements across relevant site pages. Proposals should explain the subject, intended audience, proposed format and any commercial involvement. We do not accept arrangements that require undisclosed promotion or control over independent editorial decisions.

Placement and labelling

Partner placements may appear in designated areas across the site when the subject is relevant. They are labelled clearly as sponsored or partner material, as appropriate. A placement is not an editorial endorsement, and its presence does not imply that Coastal World Journal has inspected or tested a product, service or place.

Starting a conversation

Use the Contact page and select the partnership reason. Include the organisation or project you represent, the proposed collaboration and the commercial relationship involved. We review proposals for relevance, clarity and fit; sending an inquiry does not guarantee acceptance.

Our point of view

A coastline is a design in motion

We look beyond postcard views to consider the forms, surfaces and small decisions that give a coastal place its character.
